Timing A Great Buy

We previously discussed how to avoid being pressured into making an important decision due to a “limited-time” ultimatum. Time pressure can also work to your benefit. Many sales people are given sales quotas or depend on bonuses that come from reaching certain sales levels. That means that they are eager to make the sale at the end of a month, quarter or year. So, when in the market for large ticket items, it is in your best interest to engage them in negotiations when they are feeling the pressure to give you the best deal that they can.

Time is on your side, you just have to know what time it is.
